About the film

A film about Aura. People raise what matters in the open, and institutions come to answer under their own verified name.

Everyone has something to say, and most of it disappears. ON THE RECORD begins with the public, because that is where Aura begins.

The film moves through the real product, captured signed out: a matter raised in the open under a real name, replies that stay attached to what they answer, and public spaces that keep their history.

Institutions arrive where the public already is, and answer under their own verified name. What was said, and what was promised, is still there later.
